French-born stage and screen actress and singer. She moved to the U.S. and became an American citizen, acting in comic opera from the late 1870's on both the East and West Coast and eventually joining the James C. Duff Opera Company in 1889. She performed at Palace Theatre, London and gave a command performance at Buckingham Palace in 1895. Her first Broadway performance was in 1899. Beaudet entered films with Vitagraph as a supporting player in 1912.
