Jerod Mayo (born February 23, 1986) is an American football linebacker for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Tennessee. He was drafted by the Patriots tenth overall in the 2008 NFL Draft, and was named the 2008 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
