Raymond G. Chambers (born 1942, in Newark, New Jersey, United States) currently serves as United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Financing the Health Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and for Malaria. He was appointed by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2008 as Special Envoy for Malaria. and in March 2013 given the additional role as Special Envoy for Financing the Health MDGs.A native of Newark, New Jersey, he attended Rutgers–Newark where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and was awarded an MBA from Seton Hall University in 1968.
