Elsa Buchanan was born on December 22, 1908 in London, England as Elsie Winifred Buchanan Tinker. She was an actress, known for Peter Ibbetson (1935), Charlie Chan in London (1934) and Little Lord Fauntleroy (1936). She was married to Noll Charlton. She died on January 17, 2004 in Childswickham, Worcestershire, England.
She accepted her husband's proposal of marriage while attending a coronation ball for King George VI.
