Donovan Patton (born March 1, 1978) is an American actor best known for his role as Joe, the second host of Nickelodeon's children's television program Blue's Clues, and as Bot on Team Umizoomi. Although most of his career has been in children's television, Patton has also appeared in independent films and television shows, and has worked as a voice actor. When he was cast as Joe in Blue's Clues, replacing its first host Steve Burns in 2002, he became a "household name" and has been called "an unqualified star to the 5-and-under set and their parents". He is married and has two children, and is active in several New York City area charities.
