John Truscott (23 February 1936 – 5 September 1993) was an Australian actor, production designer and costume designer. He won two Academy Awards for his work on the 1967 film Camelot.In the 1980s he was brought in to complete the interior designs for the theatre complex of the Victorian Arts Centre began by Sir Roy Grounds.
He was awarded the A.O. (Officer of the Order of Australia) in the 1985 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to the arts, particularly in the field of theatre and film design.

Despite his enormous talent, he gained a reputation for "spending alot of money" on his designs and was never offered any additional Hollywood films after making only two.
